My paintings are uniquely designed to capture the intricate details, the hidden mystique as well as the vibrant colors we witness in nature. This particular work of art represents the "unwavering"gaze of a bird of prey. I chose to portray this with very bold colors using acrylics applied with both brush and  palette knife. I used gestural strokes to convey boldness and strength as well as creating a beautiful mix of colors and adding a strong textural element to the painting . Detailed strokes created the light and reflections in the eye , a focal point of  "Unwavering" . This painting signifies strength, boldness and a stillness... as the bird seeks it's prey
